BRT Expand to two car line up with James Courtney and Jordan Love

Blanchard Racing Team Welcomes Courtney and Love for 2024 Supercars Championship

The Blanchard Racing Team (BRT) has officially announced its dynamic duo for the upcoming 2024 Repco Supercars Championship. The lineup will feature James Courtney driving the #7 Ford Mustang, backed by Snowy Rivers Caravans, and the young sensation, Aaron Love, in the #3 CoolDrive Ford Mustang.

After Courtney's departure from Tickford Racing, Snowy River Caravans followed the 2010 champion to seal the deal with BRT. This transition showcases the robust partnership between Courtney and his sponsors.

Aaron Love, who has been showcasing his talent in the rookie Dunlop Super2 Series with BRT, will be filling the seat left vacant by Todd Hazelwood. Love's significant achievements include contesting in this year's enduros and the recent victory at Bathurst in the Super2 race. The West Australian prodigy has also left an impression in the Carrera Cup Australia in 2023 by securing 12 race wins, notwithstanding missing two rounds due to international commitments.

Team Co-Principal Tim Blanchard expressed his enthusiasm, “Having Aaron and James join us is a significant milestone for our team. The union of James and Snowy River Caravans is a valuable addition. We anticipate great synergy from their shared passion. Furthermore, Aaron, as one of the most promising Supercars talents, promises exciting races.”

Courtney echoed similar sentiments about his move, “Joining BRT is exhilarating. Their commitment to excellence aligns with my goals. Aaron's rising star status in Supercars is something I’m keen on harnessing. His tenacity will indubitably elevate our team’s performance.”

Aaron Love, reflecting on his journey, said, “Being a part of BRT has been instrumental in my career. Their unwavering support and belief in my potential motivate me to strive for the pinnacle. The 2023 season has been a roller-coaster, but it has showcased our potential. Joining a team with shared objectives makes the journey even more worthwhile."

BRT's decision to onboard the experienced Courtney alongside the emerging star, Love, is a strategic move. As the team evolves and aims for podium finishes, fans and enthusiasts await an electrifying 2024 Supercars Championship. The blend of experience and youth promises fierce competition and exhilarating moments on the racetrack.
